Saturday was Kye's Cub Scouts' Awards Ceremony. Still being new to the world of cub scouts and all, we didn't know what to expect.Kye completed everything he needed for his Tiger Cub patch and now continues onto being a Wolf Cub. He was awarded all of his different belt loops and other patches as well.
And every year they get to pin their moms. So I now have a bobcat pin and a tiger pin.
He was excited, but it was very hot! We were all ready to jump into the pool!!! He has enjoyed cub scouts a lot this year, so looks like he and Darrin will be continuing next year!

Aw, so fun! My family has been involved in Boy Scouts since before I was born - we love it. My daddy actually just retired from the Scout Master position...he's been doing that for about 12yrs! I hope Kye sticks with it, it really brings awesome experiences and opportunities for the kids. (I've always been jealous...Boy Scouts are way cooler than Girl Scouts, haha.)
