KidKong's Table in Dallas

Darrin drove up to Dallas this past weekend for a comic book convention.

After working with Jorge for over a year, the two finally met!

They had a table with all of Kaeru-Boy's stuff and Jorge's other books.

Leading up to the weekend, Darrin was totally excited!

Obviously, not the first comi-con he has been to, but definitely 

the first one in which he was an artist on artist alley.

Signing his FIRST copy!!!!

Darrin made over $200 drawing sketches for people this weekend.

Some of Kaeru-Boy, but they ranged from Koala bears to 

Superman.  Charging $10 a pop, he was kept busy all 3 days!

This is a 4 foot cut out of Kaeru-boy that Darrin and Jorge will

be taking to Dallas for a comic book convention in November.

You should have seen they boys, they loved it!

They all wanted it in their rooms!

Darrin looked like a little boy too!

But, it quickly went back in the box it came from, before

any little greasy fingerprints could be found on K-boy!!

Now, you can find Kaeru-boy at Darrin's office until Nov.

How cool is that!!!

A Published Comic Book Artist in the House!!!!

I am proud to announce that the 3 Stephens Boys' dad, Darrin, has his first ever comic book published and ready to be in your hands!!!!!

They (Jorge, the writer and Darrin, the artist) are revealing & selling these this weekend at a comic convention in Baltimore and then again at another one in Dallas in November.  My brother, Kory, is actually going to the convention on Saturday and plans to buy one from Jorge and of course get it signed (it will be worth more) by Jorge and Darrin later!

So get online and buy one for yourself!!!!

Maybe you can be one of the few who will be able to say....

"I knew him before he was famous!"

"I bought one of the original 150 printed!"

How exciting would that be!!!!  Really!?!  This is more than his cover he did awhile back!

This is a whole comic, 24 pages, bound and REAL!!!!

Darrin - a published illustrator!

Just wanted to let you all know that Darrin is a published illustrator!!! Although this isn't the first time his work has been published, this is his first time published in something that is for sale!!!!

Darrin drew and colored the cover for this book aimed at tweens and young adults!

How cool that something that he drew is on amazon.com.

He did this awhile ago, and never knew if anything would pan out, but here it is!!! My husband is very talented!!!!
