A Birthday, Parties, Field Trips & Halloween

Dakota is 15!  How did THAT happen? 

Not sure, but it's crazy!  He is soooo a teenager 

and of course can't wait to drive!

He is loving high school and is a good kid that

I don't have to worry about!

I'm very thankful and blessed!

Didn't do too much for his birthday...

 Forest Ridge had their Falcanpalooza

and Kye and Kru had a blast!

 My school had a fall dance, Fallapalooza, and 

Dakota was invited! Talk about fun! We danced for 

4 hours and had a great time!

Kye had a museum day and was a caveman!

 Kru had a field trip to the Oil Ranch!

I was able to go along and even though it was chilly,

we had some fun! He milked a real cow with success,

fed cows and goats, rode a train and hayride!

 I loved being able to go along!

 And then, Halloween!

 Our church, Connecting Point, participated/sponsored  

BooFest again this year. This was our 1st time to go.

 And then the night, of trick or treating!

 And then today, I was able to go with Kye's 

class to the Renaissance Festival.  It was his

first time and he loved it!

 Shootin' some paint ball guns with Thomas, 

Bryce and Caleb!  Look at Kye's intensity!

 Of course we had to see the animals!  He wanted

to ride the elephants and horses as well, but

the petting zoo had to do!

 Cheering for the blue knight at the joust!

He didn't win :0( Kye was bummed!

 It was a great day!

I'm super thankful that I was able to spend a 

day with Kye and Kru!  One on one time

is rare, but really important! 

Halloween

Yes, it was that time of year again!

And these are our masterpieces that we carved!

Dakota's, Kye's, and Kru's

This year Dakota and Kye did their own completely!

I was impressed!!!

Kru, using my iPhone and the pumpkin game, 

found the face he wanted on his pumpkin and mom made it happen!

This was pretty much as close as Kru would get!!!

After mom took out the nasty moldy guts, Kye was way into his design!

Dakota gutted his own and began cutting his face!

And then it was the actual night!

We all dressed up for a fun night of trick-or-treating and a party to boot!

and Kru was a Dragon

3 out of 5 people in my family had eye makeup on! :)

And yes, Darrin actually shaved his head into the mohawk!

We had a great time with friends and of course, 

the boys each got tons of candy!

Yeah, I know it's sideways, I couldn't figure out how to turn it

but here is Bryce, Dakota and Reese!  The 3 Pirates!!!

The costumes only lasted for the door-to-door trick-or-treating!

As soon as we returned to the Hendrick's, they came off!

Kru's hair was wet with sweat and Kye's flamin' hair piece thingy

didn't even make it through the door-to door!

We cut Dakota's pirate pants to shorts to be cooler as well!

It was hot!!!

It was a great evening!!

The only thing I regret is I didn't get a picture of our 3 Stephens boys together! :(
