Final Days of Summer!

We have been in the house non stop pretty much as it is so HOT outside and not knowing anyone! We made it to a pool a few times and the weekend before school started we went down to San Antonio to Sea World. The kids had a great time and didn't want to leave! It's a 4 hour trip and w left at 6:00am and got home at midnight! But it was a fun time! I've also included pictures of the inside of the house, not the outside, forgot! Will add those with the first days of school hopefully next week! Dakota started on Tuesday and Kye goes back next week Wednesday! But for now here's what I got!
Kru loves to find his way to Tag's food and water bowl! Kye doesn't mind playing either, especially if he can be the dog. Kru was laughing the hardest we have ever heard him as Kye was being thedog!!

Yes, we still have boxes and tubs hanging around! Eventually maybe we'll be able to get rid of them, but they make fun climbing toys for Kru!
Kye plays a ton with his animals, his favorite place to play with the is on the bar because little brother can't reach them!
Dakota and Kye both have watched way TOO MUCH tv!! Dakota also spent a lot of time playing video games. This is our living room where we are all the time!:) The tub is there to keep Kru from getting to the DVR and Gamecube, he loves to mess with those and it never ceases to amaze me, he knows exactly which button to push!!!
Looking into the kitchen from the front door.

SEA WORLD!!!! SHAMU!

Waiting to feed the Dolphins! We waited 35 minutes!!!
Here they come! Kye was a tad scared of them, but both Dakota dn Kye touched them!!

Darrin, Dakota and Kye stood in line for 1 1/2 hours to ride this river ride that lasted less than a minute!!! Darrin and Kye got soaked as they went directly under the waterfall and Dakota didn't get wet at all much to his disappointment!
Boy has Sea World changed since I was a kid! Not only the roller coasters and other rides, but also a water park too! We didn't make it to the water park, but they also had this little wet playground. It was soooo hot that the boys went in even without swimsuits and got cooled off!

We kept squirting Kru down as he was flushed the majority of the day! All in all though, all of the kids did pretty well inspite of the crowds and heat!!!
What a Day!!! We were hot, sticky and TIRED!!! But would we do it again? Absolutely!!!:)
I will update soon with school pics! I hope you all are well. Below are a few things that I have found interesting/annoying/amusing since getting to Texas:

1. The water out of the faucet is NEVER cold!!

2. The dips in the road here could swallow a small child!:)

3. Ever heard of FireAnts???

4. Being outside, doing NOTHING!!! and dripping sweat!!!!

5. When it rains, you don't want anything small to be in the road, it will be swept away!

6. Texas Longhorns!! Very cool looking!

6. At least 80 degrees as soon as you wake up and when you go to bed!:)

7. Being able to buy okra, black-eyed peas, collard greens and other various vegetables in the freezer section!:)

I will continue to add to my list as they come to me, but those are a few to make you chuckle and glad or sorry that you don't get to experience the South like we are able to do! Miss you all!
