Monday, Martin Luther King Jr Day, we decided to go to Houston for the day to do some shopping and to eat at Red Robin (we don't have one here in town.) We also found out that the Houston Zoo was free on MLKJ day, so we added that to the agenda! Having never been to the Houston Zoo, we thought this was the perfect day to try it! So we left a little earlier and headed to the zoo!
If you know my Kye at all, he was stoked!!! We haven't been to a zoo since leaving Lincoln! 3 years is a long time to not see some animals! Actually, all of us were pretty excited about the day ahead!

Good times.
We went to the Waco zoo and they had the Native American exhibit with teepee's set up. Alex walk in one and the walks right back out and exclaims "no indians in there"
So fun.
